7 weeks of creativity, glitter and letting our imaginations run wild. Term 1 will start on Monday, 10 February, and will run for 7 weeks only, due to my time away mid-term to celebrate my brother’s wedding from 17–28 March.

At The Blank Canvas, we focus on encouraging all forms of creativity by giving students the room to experiment and let their imaginations run wild. Instead of following step-by-step instructions for cookie-cutter results, I guide students through visual stimuli and offer 1:1 check-ins throughout the lesson, allowing them to explore their own unique ideas and create something truly their own. The after-school program follows a loosely structured two-week cycle of art skills and craft, helping students build their creativity while having fun with different techniques and projects.

The theme for the term is ‘Underwater Wonders’ - attached images will be used as stimuli however students will be encouraged to add their own creativity to artworks, some of the activities will take place over a few weeks.
